3. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, tags, and server-side tracking) for site functionality, analytics, and advertising, including when you first arrive on the Site and before you interact with our cookie banner. These technologies collect device and usage information and online identifiers and share them with the analytics and advertising partners listed below to measure and deliver advertising, including advertising to you on other sites and platforms. You can also exercise industry opt-outs at the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org). Opting out does not remove all ads; it makes them less tailored.
4. Text Messaging (SMS) Program
We operate a text-messaging program supported by our service provider TECOBI, LLC, which helps us communicate with you by SMS/MMS. When you provide your mobile number and consent, you agree to receive marketing and/or transactional text messages — which may be sent using automated technology — from Thunder CDJR and our service providers and affiliates at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Your mobile number and the content of your messages are processed by TECOBI on our behalf to deliver this service.
5. Website Chat
The Site offers a chat feature so you can message us in real time. Information you enter into chat — including your name, contact details, and the content of your messages — is collected and processed to respond to you, and may be retained as a business record and used to improve our service.
6. How We Share Information
We share personal information as follows:
- Vehicle manufacturers and their affiliates (e.g., Stellantis/Chrysler) — for warranty, incentive, co-op advertising, and manufacturer programs.
- Service providers and processors acting on our behalf — including TECOBI (messaging/chat), TradePending (trade-in tools), website and hosting providers, and the analytics and advertising vendors listed in Section 3.
- Advertising and analytics partners — including Google, Meta, and The Trade Desk — which receive online identifiers and activity data to measure and deliver advertising, including cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Financial institutions and lenders — when you apply for financing or we process a transaction at your request (see Section 9).
- Legal and safety — to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect our rights, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.
We do not sell your sensitive personal information for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics technologies described in Section 3 may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under certain state laws. You can opt out as described in Section 7.
7. Your Choices
- Cookie preferences: use the "Cookie & Privacy Preferences" control on the Site.
- Global Privacy Control: we treat a valid GPC signal as an opt-out of sale/sharing.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in our emails.
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message.

- When you apply for financing, we collect and share nonpublic personal financial information with lenders and financial institutions as necessary to process your application and as permitted under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and applicable law.
- Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit application data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way.
